A global Data and IS technology business seek a Senior Pricing Manager to join their UK&I Commercial team to lead both value-based pricing on complex individual deals and the development of streamlined/simplified/digital pricing process for more standard, volume product solutions.
Salary:
c.£70000 - £80000 + excellent bonus & benefits package

Job Description
As an established, yet ever-expanding global market leader in B2B & B2C data and related technology service platforms this business is in the process of operational excellence transformation across their UK&I Commercial functions.
The UK&I B2B product streams account for c.£450m+ p/a revenue across multiple data/information services/related technology provisions to all corners of private and public sector customer verticals. The Pricing division is transitioning from being primarily ‘tactical advisors’ to ‘strategic advisors’, with a target to become recognised as a true commercial centre of excellence accelerating revenue and margin growth.
To support this an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pricing Manager from a B2B (ideally SaaS/Software/DataTech/information services/telco) product background with proven agility to deliver high volume, value based individual deal pricing and assist in more strategic pricing model and process development/simplification.
The Senior Pricing Manager will grow alongside the pricing teams’ transition & development with a fantastic opportunity to be empowered to target and deliver streamlined/simplified/digital pricing process improvement projects while maintaining involvement in individual, complex deal pricing.
The Senior Pricing Manager UK&I will:
• Provide tactical price guidance for large / complex customer proposals and support the RFP / Bid process
• Lead and manage the creation and regular maintenance of product pricing strategies, price books and pricing execution across a diverse portfolio of products
• Work with product teams to understand the product roadmap and influence/help to establish new value-based pricing strategies aligned with the customer value proposition
• Perform analysis using both measurable data and anecdotal evidence, make, defend and lead the implementation of recommendations for change and improvement
• Influence the development of user centric and automated pricing tools (eg. Salesforce CPQ)
• Support transformation towards subscription pricing where appropriate.

Experience and expertise required for application:
• Value-based pricing proposition development for singular, packaged or bundled product groupings
• Pricing data/software/technology products and services in a B2B environment
• Assisting with the development of standardised, digital automated and / or subscription-based pricing models / processes where appropriate
• Ability to work quickly and accurately often to tight deadlines set by customers
• Demonstrable experience of influencing and working cross-functionally (Sales,Bids, Marketing, Finance, IT, Business Opp’s Commercial & Legal at operational and exec management levels)
• High degree of business acumen; understands key business, financial, commercial drivers
• Ability to influence and communicate at multiple levels of seniority & quickly gain credibility
• Demonstrable commitment to deliver results for immediate need and medium/long term strategic objectives
• Utilisation and/or development of Salesforce CPQ (or similar) an advantage
