This Commercial & Legal Contracts Analyst role represents a fantastic opportunity for an early career legal professional with LPC qualification who has an interest to develop a more commercial business in-house legal career with a focus on B2B legal contracts review, analysis, drafting, negotiation and wider commercial activity within an innovative and hugely successful technology business who will offer extensive in role training and support.
The commercial function and this Commercial & Legal Contracts Analyst role sit at the heart of the business working in close support and advisory position to directors, senior management and sales departments leading all contractual matters covering:
• New business / B2B customer sales - contractual T&C's review, negotiation, drafting and amendment at tender/proposal and renewal stages)
• Strategic supplier (procurement) - contractual review, negotiation, drafting and through life SLA management
• Wider business commercial administration, project work, defining and implementing commercial process, governance, regulatory policy ++
An opportunity an LPC qualified legal graduate with c.0.5-3+ years professional experience (contracts, paralegal or general commercial administration), seeking to develop a specialist career within in-house commercial & legal contracts management with extensive in-house training, development and support.
Key qualification & experienced required for Commercial & Legal Contracts Analyst application:
• LPC (Legal Practice Course) qualified
• c.0.5-3 years (min) professional experience (ideally related to contracts / B2B legal administration but wider commercial administration with LPC qual welcome)
• First-class written and verbal communication skill able to directly converse and advise on contractual issues at senior levels.
• Analytical and inquisitive in approach.
• Excellent attention to detail with an interest to apply legal expertise to commercial B2B contractual T&C’s review & negotiation to ensure contracts are risk mitigated, commercially advantageous and mutually agreeable.
• A genuine and demonstrable interest to become a specialist in all matters commercial & legal contracts related and SME (subject matter expert) to internal stakeholder groups in a commercial business setting rather than a traditional legal practice route.
• Able to demonstrate good wider ‘commercial business’ awareness and the application contract law within.
